hey my name is Jordan Nyman and the thing i want to talk about is the setting of the story. The setting took place in the civil war time. It's somewhere in the north but i don't know where all they are saying is about Henry having dreams about licking the whole southern army. The army lived under every poor conditions eating small portion meals like crackers, pork, and a sandwich and the man ate his sandwich in anonchlant manner. That shows just how much the army was hungry and how little time they had to consume there meals.

the conditons havent really change in the middle of the book they still have very little time to consume there food and somtimes not enough sleep.
